Inventory Rise Means Opportunities for Buyers

Inventory Rise Means Opportunities for Buyers

Inventory Rise Means Opportunities for Buyers

The real estate market is showing signs of promise, even amid a cautious buying environment, as reported by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). Inventory levels are finally rising, giving buyers more options and time to make decisions—important shifts after years of tight supply. The cooling in home price appreciation is another positive, as wages are now growing faster than home prices, signaling improved affordability for future buyers. Additionally, mortgage rates, though higher than recent years, have moderated compared to earlier in 2023, potentially setting the stage for more favorable financing conditions in the coming months.

Join the “Love Thy Neighbor” Thanksgiving Food Drive to Support Families in Need

As Thanksgiving approaches, the spirit of giving back becomes more meaningful. This season, RE/MAX Heritage is honored to partner with Hands of Hope America for the “Love Thy Neighbor” Thanksgiving Food Drive, aiming to provide complete holiday meals to over 300 families within our community. Here’s how you can participate in this impactful initiative.

Thanksgiving Distribution on November 20

On November 20, Hands of Hope America will distribute Thanksgiving bags, turkeys, and additional food items to local families in need. This food drive offers more than a meal; it provides support, comfort, and a sense of community for families facing challenging times.

How to Participate in the Thanksgiving Food Drive

Hands of Hope America has organized several ways to make your support as convenient as possible:

1. Receive a Thanksgiving Bag

Hands of Hope will deliver a Thanksgiving bag directly to your home or office, along with a list of essential meal items for you to purchase. This prepared approach ensures that your contributions provide everything a family needs.

2. Fill the Bag with Thanksgiving Essentials

Use the provided list to gather Thanksgiving meal staples like canned vegetables, stuffing, and other holiday favorites to help create a complete meal.

3. Schedule a Pickup or Drop Off Items

On November 8, place your filled bag outside for Hands of Hope’s volunteers to collect, or if it’s more convenient, you can drop off your items directly at the RE/MAX Heritage office. If you have any questions, feel free to call our office for further details.

Businesses Can Also Contribute

Local businesses can help by hosting their own collection drives for non-perishable goods. To organize a drive or to learn more, contact Evelisse, Executive Director of Hands of Hope America, at Evelisse@handsofhopeamerica.org or call (352) 995-7774.

This Thanksgiving, join us in spreading hope and joy. Every contribution to the “Love Thy Neighbor” food drive makes a direct difference, bringing warmth and togetherness to families throughout our community. Contact our office at 863-424-2309 or coordinate us via email at info@bardellrealestate.com with any questions or to arrange a convenient drop-off time. Together, we can ensure every family has a reason to give thanks.

Spotlight: The Rise of Multi-Generational Living – A Growing Trend in 2024

Spotlight: The Rise of Multi-Generational Living - A Growing Trend in 2024

Multi-Generational Living

As housing costs continue to increase and families adapt to new financial realities, multigenerational living has become more than just a temporary solution—it’s a growing trend that is shaping the real estate market. In 2024, more families are choosing to live under one roof, with grandparents, parents, and children sharing the same household.

This shift isn’t just about saving money—it’s also about building stronger family bonds. For many, multi-generational living offers shared caregiving responsibilities and a closer sense
of community. Homes with dual master suites, flexible living spaces, and in-law apartments are increasingly sought after, reflecting this changing demand.

There are also financial benefits, like cutting down on housing costs, childcare, and eldercare expenses. However, the shift requires thoughtful planning to navigate family dynamics and shared responsibilities.

Property Management Spotlight: Why AC Regular Maintenance REALLY Matters

Property Management Spotlight Why AC Maintenance REALLY Matters

AC Maintenance

Keeping up with AC maintenance might seem like a small task, but it has huge benefits. As our property expert Lucy Hinson explains, regularly changing your home’s air filter can:

  • Improve air quality by reducing pollutants like dust, pollen, and pet fur, which is a
    game-changer for anyone with allergies.
  • Boost energy efficiency, helping you save on utility bills by preventing your HVAC
system from working harder than it needs to.
  • Extend the life of your HVAC system, avoiding unnecessary wear and tear.
  • Reduce the frequency of repairs—because prevention is always cheaper than fixing
    a broken system.
  • Keep your home cleaner by cutting down on dust and allergens, making a more
    comfortable living environment.

Small changes like this can make a big difference in comfort and savings.
